PARIS AUTO SHOW 2022
Our colleague Sebastian had the chance to attend for one morning the "Mondial de l'Auto" in Paris, France.
This internationally known event has, for the first time, highlighted hydrogen, a promising new energy that we hope will revolutionize the technologies of the 21st century.
Traditionally, the major French car brands were present, but the public was surprised by the large number of hydrogen exhibitors. Among them we can count for example Hopium, NamX, Alpine, Symbio, HRS, Hyvia or Hype.
On the transport side, we had the opportunity to discover new hydrogen cars, a hydrogen formula 1, a cab and a hydrogen minibus.
All these promising projects are good news for the hydrogen sector and its development, but also for the students who want to participate in H2GP programs.
Indeed, new industrial projects in hydrogen equals new opportunities to be sponsored for the race; company, director, student, teacher, don't wait any longer and contribute to the H2GP adventure!
Established in 2019, Hopium was founded by racing driver Olivier Lombard, winner of the 2011 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans competition and the most experienced hydrogen racer in the world.
The race acted as an open-air laboratory which made it possible for Olivier Lombard and his team to reflect on new mobility solutions to meet contemporary environmental challenges. Bringing together leading partners and experts in the sectors of fuel cells, automotive engineering and advanced technologies, Hopium aims to restore the dialogue between mankind, nature and technology, in a search for a perfect balance.

As a new car manufacturer on the market, NamX aims to bring new perspectives to the automotive world. X for exploration, X for experience. Our innovative concept aims to make green hydrogen accessible everywhere. Not only because it represents an undeniable alternative to fossil fuel vehicles, but above all because it is currently the cleanest solution available to the automotive sector. Our goal is to build a French hydrogen car that overcomes the problems faced by the electric car. Fast and easy charging (less than 4 minutes), significantly increased road range, and the cleanest possible carbon footprint are our priorities. And they have all become reality with the hydrogen SUV.
