Dutch Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix Students Fine-Tune Cars for Upcoming Race
Last week Horizon Educational was thrilled to see the incredible motivation and dedication our students showed in taking part in a practice race at Summa Automotive & Smart Mobility in Helmond, Netherlands.
After months of hard work, fine-tuning and learning from mistakes, Horizon Educational students in the Netherlands have finally put their hydrogen-powered cars to the test.
Their cars raced for over 4 hours and were kept on the track by not only skilled driving but the incredible pit crews who were able to quickly and intelligently change car parts throughout the race. We were thrilled to see the progress these students have made.
Horizon Educational is building the next generation of renewable energy innovators, and as part of this mission we put on races around the world where students design, engineer and eventually race 1:10 scale hydrogen-powered radio-controlled cars.
Over the past 4-months, Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) students in the Netherlands have been preparing their hydrogen-powered cars to race in at the Dutch H2GP Final on 12th May 2023. Friday's practice race was yet another step forward on students' eventual goal of taking part in the 12th May race. We look forward to see you there!
Thank you to Summa Automotive & Smart Mobility and HobbyTime B.V. for sponsoring this event!
