10% Platinum on Vulcan XC 72R
Many electrochemical processes have been made viable due to the advent of well-dispersed, high surface area electrocatalysts like Platinum on Vulcan XC 72R. The new method by which it is produced provides an outstanding, high-purity catalyst that is well-known for being amenable to forming highly uniform electrode structures.

Suggested Uses
Platinum on Vulcan XC 72R (Carbon) can be used for Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cell (PEMFC), Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC), Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC), and Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell (PAFC) applications. You can use this as either the cathode catalyst or anode catalyst. Other uses are as a recombination catalyst for hydrogen elimination. Platinum on Vulcan XC-72R can also be used as a building block for sensor elements and it is more refined and has a smaller particle size than Vulcan XC-72.
